The first valve: Amount of water drops can be adjusted with the first valve. (Speed of drops from the first valve into the coffee tube)
The second valve: Amount of coffee drops can be adjusted with the second valve. (Strength of coffee can be controlled how you prefer it)
What are the advantages of our Colddrip which has double valve system?
– No need of Tamping
Normally tamping is performed to wet grinded coffee bean in tube with slow currency of water.
But double valve system of Coffeega enables even distribution of water with controlling the second valve on coffee been tube, without tamping.
This can reduce the time for activation of water and coffee and make user-control possible.
The activation takes longer when extracting with cold water than hot.
This means that enough time allowance for activation helps good extraction of coffee.
When enough water is supplied to grinded coffee in the tube, close both the first valve and the second valve to allow time for activation.
Brewing time from coffee tube is controllable with the second valve. It provides the adjustment of density and taste of coffee by control of time for activation of water and coffee.
– Adjustment of coffee strength
When extracted ‘Colddrip’ coffee, strength of coffee goes lower by time.
This happens when the water passes grinded coffee bean, making a path only where the water flows through.
It means that only some parts of coffee bean in the tube are extracted, while other parts are less-extracted due to lack of vitalization.
Against this case, with filling water up to the top of tube with controlling the second valve, activation of water and all of grinded coffee bean is performed and adjustment of strength is enabled.
