Cascara Tea in Cold Brew&Drip Method w/Alley600

I visited Cafe Malaysia last month which is placed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and our Colddrip products are displayed at the booth, “Light House Coffee” during this event. What was interesting to me was they’re making Coldbrew Tea using Cascara with our Alley600. I’m happier with that i know how to use our products with any different ways using our products . Cascara is a “coffee cherry tea” meaning shell or husk from spanish and people used to drink this Cascara tea pouring hot water & suger or cinnamon in other countries.

It’s simple to make Cold Brew Cascara tea. You can soak dried cascara in cold water pressing with a stick.

You can fill up this coffee glass tube of Alley600 with  moistened cascara. And then, fill up the top glass bowl of Alley600 with cold water. (Approx. 600ml)

And then, open the valve dripping  cold water every single drops. You can adjust the amount of water drops properly as you wish. Drops speed is similar as making Cold Drip Coffee.

The whole brewing hours are 5- 6 hrs. All my friends asked me how it does taste and i must tell them, it’s a Coffee Cherry Tea. Then,i’m thinking about that i need to clarify classfication of this Coffee Cherry Tea. More specifically, it’s a tea with coffee flavor and it’s sweet lightly and feel refreshed. If you can find Cascara near from you, please try to make this Cold Brew Cascara tea using our Alley600. It’ll be another way to enjoy our Colddrip products.
